Dentsply Sirona recently introduced three new products as part of its SureSmile clear aligner system: SureSmile® VPro™, SureSmile® Retainers and the SureSmile™ Whitening Kit.
The additions to the SureSmile system are designed to give patients a better experience and enable dentists to provide a comprehensive treatment approach, according to a press release.
SureSmile VPro helps accelerate orthodontic tooth movement while the SureSmile Retainers and Whitening Kit help patients maintain their bright smiles after treatment.
The SureSmile VPro device leverages high-frequency vibration (HFV). When used with orthodontic treatment for 5 minutes a day, it delivers gentle vibrations that may reduce discomfort, improve aligner tracking and accelerate tooth movement. The device is now included in the SureSmile Complete Case offering, the comprehensive aligner package, and as a standalone product.
The new retainer is designed to maintain teeth alignment after treatment. The whitening kit also will be included with all SureSmile Aligner treatments in the U.S. once treatment is complete.
