Through a new partnership with BeamReaders, Carestream Dental users now have instant access to radiology experts. Clinicians can share images and treatment information via Click & Share, a new clinical services platform from Carestream Dental’s clinical software and cloud sharing brand, Swissmeda.
BeamReaders provides oral and maxillofacial radiology reporting services, according to a press release. When doctors need a second opinion on 3D interpretation, they can easily reach an expert at BeamReaders, ensuring they have the support they need when making critical diagnostic and treatment decisions. This can increase doctors’ confidence in their use of 3D imaging.
Click & Share can be found in the latest version of CS Imaging, the imaging hub that centralizes and displays all users’ Carestream Dental imaging data. The secure, HIPAA-compliant platform allows clinicians to easily share images and reduces the need to export images, zip files or log into a separate portal to upload. It also can help users avoid mistakes on exports and save time when it comes to submitting the right files/formats. The platform also allows for a larger variety of data sets to be shared, including CBCT volumes.
