Dentsply Sirona recently released the updated Sidexis 4 V 4.3 imaging software as well as updated software for the Orthophos SL digital imaging system.
With the updates, practices and clinics can benefit from a complemented set of functions, according to a press release. The enhanced Sidexis 4 software, as well as images, now load faster and operate quicker. The image management software also makes it possible to delete unnecessary patient data and images to optimize memory space. Features such as the multi-station display enable team members to work on the same image at different work stations at the same time. Simplified installation makes it easier to share images with referrals in other practices, while the software’s readiness for Sidicom QR enables dental clinics to integrate both systems.
The latest Orthophos SL software release includes exposure rescue within the image acquisition workflow. If the connection between Orthophos SL and the work station is interrupted during image transmission, the team can easily recover image data. The Orthophos SL also offers several simplifications, such as a shorter calibration time.
Both updates feature enhanced 3D image quality as well as refined image functions, including 3D endo layout for easier endodontic analysis, STL import and new image filters.
