What Should I Consider When Selecting Denture Materials?

Be prepared to make adjustments to dentures in your office—even dentures you didn’t deliver. Look for hard and soft reline materials that are easy to use and that don’t take on odors, stains or tastes. They also should be long-lasting and produce minimal heat to avoid burning the patient. Hard reline materials are designed for long-term repairs, but some of the new soft reline materials also can last several years.
