Beam Dental Rebrands to Beam Benefits

Beam Dental recently rebranded to Beam Benefits and has added voluntary life, accident and hospital indemnity products to its benefits portfolio.

The change makes the company a one-stop-shop for ancillary benefits, according to a press release, and includes a refreshed brand identity as well as a new website. Beam Benefits “modernized dental insurance” with a connected Beam Brush toothbrush that allows groups to potentially earn lower insurance rates based on their dental hygiene.

Beam offers a variety of benefits, including: instant quoting via digital quoting tools that use machine learning; quick easy set up with implementation that takes less than five days; wellness incentives through the Beam Perks program that offer wellness-connected rewards and a smart toothbrush; and robust customer support.

The benefits program also encourages employee engagement, with groups seeing about a 15% increase in enrollment.

Beam Benefits will continue to launch additional benefits products and plans to add critical illness to its portfolio later this year.

“Employers are moving from office perks to benefits that make employees’ lives healthier, happier and more financially sound,” Beam Benefits co-founder and CEO Alex Frommeyer said, according to the release. “At Beam Benefits, we make employee benefits simpler and smarter so they’re easier to understand and use, creating happy, motivated and productive employees. We’re primed to simplify the paper-logged and complex employee benefits industry.”
