The files use a proprietary heat-treating process to create optimal controlled memory and flexibility for up to 90º curves, accommodating complex canal anatomies, according to the company website.
The company’s proprietary heat annealing process enhances the metallurgy. This gives users a smaller, smoother and simpler minimally invasive file system that offers better patient outcomes.
EXACTTaperHDC files have a variable taper with a maximum flute diameter of.8MM to allow for better negotiation of the canal while preserving more tooth structure. Smaller tapering in the mid and upper portion results in flexibility while providing better initial access and conservative restorative options.
