Buffalo Dental Mfg. Co. recently introduced the “Chuck Saver” Abbott-Robinson Bristle Brushes.
The brushes are designed to cover the opening of the exposed collet with a small metal shield, preventing dust and debris from reaching the internal workings of the handpiece and motor, according to a press release. This saves dentists money on handpiece repairs. Users can insert the brush as normal and the “Chuck Saver” shield protects the handpiece.
The patented Chuck Saver brushes feature the same high-quality bristle brushes that are well suited for cleaning and polishing denture acrylic, cleaning interproximal spaces after denture deflasking and general lab or dental office polishing applications. The durable brushes are available in soft, standard stiff and extra stiff bristles. All feature solid carbon steel HP mandrels for optimal fit and durability.
