 Enhanced Dental Product: TeleDent™ All-In-One Teledentistry Platform From MouthWatch

MouthWatch recently added new features to its TeleDent™ all-in-one teledentistry platform.

The enhancements are designed to further balance provider and patient benefits, according to a press release. During the pandemic, the company received many new signups and inquires about the TeleDent platform, giving them the opportunity to get feedback from a new group of clinicians and patients. MouthWatch used that feedback to enhance the experience for both patients and providers.

The platform now includes a patient intake form that makes it easy for patients to request a teledentistry consultation online. The form can be easily added to a practice’s website.

Mobile patient portal access makes it easier for patients to use the patient portal on their mobile phones. Through the portal, patients can schedule a live virtual consult or message the practice. Patients also can download a mobile app, but that isn’t required.

New dental team texting allows dental professionals to send text messages for patient portal registrations or to invite patients to join virtual consults. Email is also still an option.

Finally, through virtual dental team support, team members can now use their smartphones to manage the practice’s TeleDent account directly. This includes user management, billing tools and custom practice branding. The TeleDent Learning Center also gives them 24/7 access to training and education resources from wherever they are.
