Planmeca Romexis® now offers seamless integration for dental practices to easily send cases to labs with one click
Hoffman Estates, Ill.– Planmeca USA, an industry-leading manufacturer of dental imaging and CAD/CAM equipment, announced today the integration of its all-in-one software, Planmeca Romexis®, with Henry Schein One’s web-based service, Digital Dental Exchange (DDX®). This integration will help enhance communication between dental practices and dental laboratories; deliver seamless connectivity between practice management software and lab-management applications; and make it possible to easily share data between practices and labs.

With the centralized database, Planmeca Romexis provides the ultimate in data accessibility and file management.
Dentists using DDX can easily create a new case - pre-populated with the patient’s information - and transfer and store multiple patient files and other pertinent information about the case to their lab quickly and securely with one click.

Practitioners can more easily send patient information through Planmeca Romexis, integrating with the DDX portal. Trained technicians will review the patient records and provide a treatment protocol for the practitioner. The practitioner reviews and approves the treatment, makes any necessary adjustments and then tracks the progress of the case.
