KaVo Kerr recently formed a partnership with TeamSmile, a non-profit organization that provides free dental care and education to underserved children in the U.S. by working with professional sports organizations.
Through the partnership, TeamSmile dentists will have access to KaVo Kerr products, including KaVo MASTERtorque LUX M8900L, the KaVo SMARTmatic S20 K series handpieces and the KaVo NOMAD Pro 2 handheld X-ray system, according to a press release.
TeamSmile holds programs in sports stadiums and arenas throughout the country. Through TeamSmile events, children receive free oral health education, screening and treatment. They are also taught about the oral-systemic link and what it means for their overall health.
