The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the new XVWeb 3D Imaging Service from LED Apteryx.
The new 3D imaging solution is a web-based platform offering a range of dental 3D image visualization and diagnostic capabilities, according to a press release. The software works with CBCT DICOM data and is controlled via an intuitive user interface. XVWeb 3D adds online accessibility and security to dental 3D images the same ways the XVWeb platform does for 2D dental images. The software offers HIPAA-compliant sharing of patient images between healthcare providers.
