New Dental Product: XVWeb Cloud 3D Imaging Software from Apteryx, a Subsidiary of LED Medical Diagnostics

Apteryx, a Subsidiary of LED Medical Diagnostics, recently introduced a new SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) 3D Imaging Module for XVWeb Cloud Imaging Software.

XVWeb 3D allows for cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and stereolithography (STL) datasets to be accessed, viewed, and shared securely via any compatible web browser in real time, according to a press release.

The dental imaging software platform uses Microsoft Azure cloud technology to deliver clinical image storage, optimization and analysis as a cost-effective subscription service.

XVWeb allows practices to access their clinical image data anywhere at any time from compatible web-connected devices with the added security of off-site storage and back-up. The addition of XVWeb 3D will allow the same level of accessibility and security for any STL or CBCT dataset. All 3D image interactions can be performed via the web along with the use of a full suite of image enhancement and annotation tools.
