New Dental Product: Claris i5HD Intraoral Camera from Sota Imaging

Sota Imaging recently released the Claris i5HD intraoral camera.

The intraoral camera is designed with a native high-definition imaging sensor, making it possible to capture clear images, according to the company website. Users can zoom in on images without causing pixelation.

The camera features an anodized all-aluminum body that is lightweight and durable. Its smooth contours give the camera a seek look, while also making it easy for both left or right handed doctors to use. Dentists also can easily switch hands to get the necessary shots without any interruption.

The company updated the camera’s extended slide focus for a smoother, quicker and more accurate focus. Clinicians can slide all the way down (auto-focus) for full face, full smile, full arch, and arch quadrant, slightly down for 1 to 2 molar shot, and all-the-way down for 1/2 molar shot.

The turnkey Claris i5HD is designed to work with almost any dental imaging software and major practice management programs including Apteryx, Dentrix, Dexis, Eaglesoft and Easy Dental. Users can plug the intraoral camera in to seamlessly take clear images.
