GC America recently released Aadva IOS, an intraoral scanning system designed to make it easy for dentists to get started with digital dentistry.
The scanner features an intuitive process flow, from scanning to exporting files, according to the company.
Other features include a 19″ touch screen for clear diagnostic/visual graphics; a rotating cradle with anti-fog function; a flexible arm for ease of use; USB and SD card slots to transfer data via external drives if WiFi or Internet aren’t available; round and smooth surfaces for easy cleaning; a transportation lock to ensure safe transport; and a brake and move pad.
The mobile cart’s footprint also allows for easy movement from operatory to operatory, reducing the need for multiple systems.
