Carestream Dental recently released CS WinOMS v 9.0 Practice Management Software, which is designed to streamline the workflow at oral maxillofacial practices.
The updated software now includes the EMR Elite module, which offers a comprehensive, integrated solution that makes it easy to capture and view patient medical records and treatment plans, according to a press release.
The software’s redesigned main screen is similar to a Web page and easy to navigate, reducing the number of clicks necessary to access procedure history, patient registration, the encounter slip, prescriptions and a variety of other features. Doctors can quickly access information such as medical history, primary surgical history, allergies and medications, making it easier to mitigate potential patient complications.
The module also provides instant previews of images, attachments and TruForms. This eliminates the need to open another window to view an image, saving time.
