Stratasys recently introduced the J700 Dental 3D Printing Solution for orthodontics. It offers a high throughput for the production of clear aligners.
The PolyJet based 3D printer drives scalable, on-demand production for clear aligners, allowing labs to produce more than 400 clear aligner molds a day, according to a press release. The durable VeroDent material is well suited for accelerated production, better accuracy and minimal post-processing.
The solution offers seamless digital workflows for large-volume production of patient-specific aligners on the same tray. This reduces the requirements for manual post-curing or finishing.
The system is easy to use and clean and reduces requirements for advanced design expertise. GrabCAD Print also helps streamline workflows, allowing users to capitalize on smart default settings, tips and notifications. Users can work with detailed model views alongside a tray and slice preview to handle all necessary adjustments before printing.
