Dental Wings recently introduced Dental Wings DWOS Lab Management software, a cloud-based solution designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of digital and analog workflows in dental labs.
The software comes with an intuitive user interface and is accessible through any computer or Web browser, according to a press release. It is designed to simplify case management, organize case related data and monitor a lab’s activities to give complete oversight in real time.
It features scheduling tools, operations dashboards, and file management to and from outside partners and dentists. The software integrates with the full range of Dental Wings dentist and lab solutions.
Tools include the Lab-Kanban methodology for minimizing shelf-time between tasks; automatic scheduler and automatic flags that warn of impending delays; prioritized tasks by employee, providing details, notes and documents when they are needed; simplified output of travelers (case document), shipping documents, and invoices; real-time case exchange that’s integrated with Dental Wings products and completely open to connect to any other open CAD/CAM process; and automatic case information exchange.
The software will be available this summer.
