New Dental Product: Artic Digital Denture Teeth from Heraeus Kulzer

Heraeus Kulzer recently launched Artic Digital Denture Teeth, a line of digitally designed and manufactured versions of the company’s conventional Artic denture teeth.

The 11 Artic Digital anterior teeth are multilayered and lifelike, according to a press release, and allow for optimal adaptation to existing dentition and complete dentures. The six posterior teeth offer exceptional physiological function, accurate intercuspal relationships and optimal occlusion.

The economically priced CAD/CAM teeth can be used in any traditional denture setup, but are specially designed for the company’s private label digital denture system, My Digital Denture. This system eliminates the setup, waxing and design steps in the denture process, saving time and leading to an improved outcome.

Heraeus Kulzer’s Pala Digital Design Center designs the setup and creates a 3D PDF for approval. There is no change to workflow prior to setup for either the dental practice or the laboratory. Dentists create impressions as they always have, while laboratory technicians pour and scan models with bite rims based on those impressions.

Artic Digital is available in 17 shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D2, D3, D4 and  BL3.
