Nonova Biomaterials recently released NovaPro Flow Composite.
This flowable composite incorporates calcium phosphate nanofibers that are said to significantly improve the tooth’s strength while retaining the shine, according to a press release.
It is placed via syringe for easy, precise delivery, and can be light cured in less than 20 seconds. Once hardened, the nanofibers provide support to the overall tooth structure for greater longevity.
The company plans to develop more nanofiber-based biomaterials, including universal composites.
