DEXIS Releases Comparative Study of Digital X-ray Sensors

A new report available from DEXIS provides a head-to-head comparison of the DEXIS Platinum Sensor and DEXIS Imaging Software and the Schick 33 Sensor with Patterson Imaging Software.

The study found the DEXIS Platinum Sensor provided clinically usable images more consistently over a wider range of exposure settings, according to a press release. To put together the comparison, researchers looked at image quality and consistency by examining visible resolution and contrast, dynamic range, contrast-to-noise ratio and the full range of dose settings for both sensors.

Additionally in a blind sensor comfort study, the DEXIS sensor was cited as more comfortable by 9 out of 10 participants, and in a study of workflow efficiency the DEXIS sensor also came out on top. For more details on the research, visit http://www.dexis.com/best.
