Designed to produce realistic looking and dimensionally accurate dental models, the Objet260 Dental Selection 3D Printer from Stratasys is capable of printing in multiple materials and colors in a single print run.
Suited to the workloads of mid- to large-sized dental and orthodontic labs, the 3D printer uses triple-jetting technology to produce realistic looking models with clear definition between the gingiva and teeth, according to a press release. The models can be produced with life-like gum textures for functional testing, or set to produce surgical guides with different colors for different anatomies.
The printer is compatible with all PolyJet dental materials, along with an array of dental-specific material palettes that can be used to produce different colors and textures found in oral anatomies.
