Featuring Csl imaging sensor that captures 20 layers of digital x-ray images, the ProVecta S-Pan digital panoramic x-ray system from Air Techniques assembles an optimized image for enhanced clarity.
The extremely sharp digital panoramic images are created from software that divides the 20 layers into 20,000 image slices and assembles them into a single image featuring the sharpest of these slices for each part of the image, according to a press release. The ProVecta S-Pan is capable of producing an image in as little as 7 seconds and provides 17 pre-set imaging programs including four specifically for pediatric patients which offer reduced radiation levels.
The unit’s outward facing orientation, simple height adjustment and 3 laser positioning guides make it easy to set up a scan. The large touchscreen control also offers optional voice commands.
