Designed to provide dental practices with a remote data storage option, FastVaults from MEA|NEA is a HIPAA-compliant way to store patient health data and other critical practice information in the cloud.
Assigned users can access the stored data from any internet connected device, and files can be shared with referral partners, payers and patients via secure links that can be sent via email, according to a press release. The links are sent with a timeframe for expiration to enhance security.
The FastVaults system allows for an unlimited number of user accounts, and it is compatible with any file format. The system will officially be available on Nov. 3, 2014, and FastAttach clients can register for a free FastVaults account.
