 The Canary System Outperforms Conventional Proximal Caries Detection Techniques

A recently presented study found The Canary System was more accurate at detecting proximal caries than conventional detection techniques.

The research found The Canary System was more sensitive and more accurate than both visual detection using the International Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS) II and bitewing radiography, according to a press release. The study was conducted by the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and presented during the recent 61st ORCA Congress in Greifswald, Germany.
