New Dental Products: creos Allograft Portfolio of Regenerative Materials from Nobel Biocare

During the 2014 Academy of Osseointegration Meeting Nobel Biocare announced the launch of its complete creos allograft product line along with an enhanced treatment workflow for NobelClinician Software.

The creos allograft product line is now available in the United States and includes creos.allo.gain, a particulate bone graft material available in five varieties, a demineralized bone matrix putty and creos.allo.protect resorbable pericardium membranes, according to a press release.

The allograft material is available in corticocancellous, cancellous, cortical and demineralized cortical bone types as well as a blend. The putty is moldable, suited to smoothly adapt for defects and delivered via an easy to use dispenser. The membrane is available in three sizes and is designed to adapt to the graft site and maintain its shape.

Also announced at the AAO show is a new integrated treatment workflow that allows clinicians using NobelClinician software to connect to dental labs over the NobelConnect network. Labs can provide dentists with scans captured by the NobelProcera 2G scanner for a collaborative workflow where CBCT scans can be merged with the model scans for visual case planning and easier presentation to patients.
