BIOLASE has filed a lawsuit alleging that dental laser companies Fotona and Technology4Medicine have been making false claims.
The suit, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, claims six causes of action against Fotona and Technology4Medicine, according to a press release. The allegations include that the two defendants have made false and misleading statements about BIOLASE products, technology and management. The suit is seeking injunctive relief as well as cash.
