With the company’s TRIOS digital impression system set to go on sale in North America this month, 3Shape announced authorized reseller deals with BIOLASE, CadBlu and Kastle Mills. All three companies will be selling the TRIOS to dentists, dental specialists and dental schools.
The deal with BIOLASE is for 5 years, according to a press release. Terms of the other two deals were not noted in separate press releases. The deal with Kastle Mills does specify that company is authorized to sell in Canada, according to that press release.
The TRIOS is a powder-free digital impression system that features the capability to send scans to and directly communicate with dental laboratories via the scanner. The software validates the scan and allows clinicians to edit the scans prior to sending them to a lab.
