Dental Instrument Cassettes

Used to sterilize and organize dental instruments, cassettes can be a key part of running a highly efficient dental practice. Often fabricated from stainless steel or durable plastics, cassettes should securely store instruments in an organized fashion in order to keep sets of instruments or handpieces ready for use. Most cassettes feature slits or patterned holes which make them ideal for use in a sterilizer, as well as make it easy to identify the instruments inside. The cassettes you choose for your practice should be compatible with your autoclave. It is also important to be sure they are able to hold your instruments securely in place so they do not shift or fall out when the cassette is being moved throughout the practice.
