Self Adhesive Resin Cements

Self-adhesive resin cements are designed to simplify the placement of indirect restorations by eliminating the need for separate etchants and primers. Dual cured and available in different shades to match the clinical situation at hand, these cements are most often for use with ceramic or metal crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and endodontic posts. Most self-adhesive cements provide good bond strengths and can save clinicians time because fewer steps are required. As with any cement system, be sure to use the self-adhesive resin you choose according to the manufacturer instructions for placement and curing.
