CAD/CAM Cutback Porcelains

CAD/CAM cutback porcelains are used to add lifelike details to the cutback areas on CAD/CAM-produced ceramic crowns and bridges. These porcelain powders are available in a variety of shades and can be layered onto the frameworks to create the final anatomy of the restoration. These porcelains are designed to bond with ceramic substructure materials such as zirconia. They can be expertly layered to create translucencies, internal effects, and other anatomical details. Be sure to practice with the CAD/CAM cutback porcelain you choose so you know the nuances and furnace firing protocols of the system.
