Portable Operator Stools

Portable operator stools provide a place for dentists, hygienists, and assistants to sit down while performing dentistry in a mobile operatory. These stools should be similar to the stools used in permanent operatories, but some features might not be available as these stools should be designed for easy packing and mobility. A portable dental stool should still provide a comfortable, ergonomic place to sit. Many fold in a manner similar to a folding chair, and include a carrying case to make transport and storage simple. Be sure to sit on the stool to test for comfort, and practice collapsing and packing the stool before taking it into the field for mobile dentistry.
