Formulated from a mix of water, agar and modifiers, Hydrocolloid Materials are among the oldest dental impression materials still in use. These materials can change state from a semi-solid to a liquid and back depending on the temperature. Capturing an impression with a hydrocolloid material requires specific techniques and equipment. These can include Reversible Hydrocolloid Impression Materials, Reversible Hydrocolloid Syringe Materials, Reversible Hydrocolloid Processors, Reversible Hydrocolloid Syringes and Water-Cooled Impression Trays.
