Glidewell will now distribute Carestream Dental’s CBCT imaging systems in the U.S. and Canada.
The agreement will increase patient access to advanced 3D imaging technology for an expanded range of clinical procedures, according to a press release. The 3D systems provide CBCT, panoramic and cephalometric functions in a compact form factor. Premium options with expanded features and an enlarged field of view are also available.

"Carestream Dental's CBCT systems are a perfect complement to our growing ecosystem of clinical CAD/CAM dental solutions, and help us further our commitment to making patient treatment faster, more predictable and more affordable."
Glidewell will also distribute intraoral sensors, wall-mounted and handheld generators, and imaging software from Carestream Dental. As part of the distribution agreement, the companies will work to co-develop educational initiatives and training programs.
