Grin Launches New Products at AAO 2023

Grin announced several new product launches at the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) Annual Meeting in Chicago. The company offers a comprehensive virtual care platform that provides digital oral health care solutions that connect practices and patients.

The releases include new patient management integrations and a full-service practice growth suite with more practice productivity and workflow automation tools, according to a press release. With the updates, the all-in-one digital platform offers more opportunities for doctors and team members to improve efficiencies, boost revenue and streamline practice workflows.

One of the releases, the AI Records App, is a dedicated Grin mobile app that allows practices to take a high-quality scan, including intraoral and extraoral photos of a patient, using the Grin Scope and an iPhone. Practices can use the service for all practice record-taking, fast onboarding and to generate leads and referrals. Grins’ AI will automatically choose the best eight images from the Grin scan.

Through the new in-practice communication feature, team members can discuss, annotate and manage cases in real time, including cross-team patient delegations and internal tagging and notifications.

The New Hygiene Resource Suite now has more tools to educate and enforce better oral care practices. Various educational tutorials can be shared with patients directly through the Grin App.

Practices also can now integrate the Grin platform with practice management software through a new partnership with Dolphin Practice Management Software.

These new features add to Grin’s Human Intelligence (Grintelligence) service, powered by Grin’s AI and trained personnel to allow practices and patients actionable, timely and trustworthy guidance throughout treatment.

The company plans to release additional new technology later this year, including oral hygiene detection tools that leverage AI technology to detect gum recession, inflammation, plaque and tartar.
