New Dental Product: ZenFlex ONE Reciprocating File From Kerr Dental

Kerr Dental recently introduced the ZenFlex ONE reciprocating file.

The file features a counterclockwise flute for doctors who use reciprocating motion when shaping, according to a press release.

Along with its matching Gutta Percha and Paper Points, the file offers a simple solution for endodontic specialists and GPs performing root canals.

The file is designed to be used with Kerr motors as well as other reciprocating motion motors. It has been tested to demonstrate flexibility and resistance to cyclic fatigue.

The company’s proprietary heat treatment process minimizes the tradeoff between flexibility and torsional strength, resulting in a high-performing reciprocating file that can be used for a wide range of anatomies. This also shortens shaping time.

The file design includes a triangular cross-section with high cutting efficiency and a smaller maximum flute diameter, allowing for improved efficiency and tooth structure preservation. The non-cutting tip minimizes the risk of transportation and perforation during procedures.
