Ultradent Products recently introduced the VALO™ X broadband LED curing light, the newest version of its popular VALO curing light.
The completely redesigned curing light features a 12. mm lens and a custom LED chip for a more complete cure, according to a press release. It also features improved curing depth, beam collimation and thermal management.
The durable light offers two power modes (Standard Power and Xtra Power), two diagnostic light modes (black light and white light), as well as the ability to work corded or cordless.
The light, with its one-button activation, comes with a user interface equipped with an accelerometer, allowing users to cycle between the light’s power and diagnostic modes with the wave of the wand, a light drum tap, or by pushing a button. This helps reduce fumbling during the procedure and the likelihood of dropping the light.
The VALO X also has a simplified, low-profile design that enables the head to easily reach posterior restorations.
