Flight Dental Systems recently released a handheld portable dental x-ray, the Flight X-Vision.
The unit uses an advanced x-ray generator made by Canon in Japan, according to a press release. The generator is described as compact and ultra-safe, allowing the unit to be powerful yet lightweight and portable.
The x-ray features an ergonomic design and an intuitive user interface, making it easy to complete a full mouth series. The device also features a long-lasting Panasonic Lithium Ion Battery that produces up to 800+ exposures in one charge.
The portable unit can be used in multiple operatories, allowing flexibility and saving the practice from having to purchase multiple x-rays. Practitioners can stay with patients during the procedure, helping to ensure they don’t move, reducing the number of retakes needed.
Because it’s portable, the device is easy to service and can be shipped to a repair depot. The point and shoot controls make it easy to operate.
The X-Vision is available in both white and black.
