New Dental Products: ProCure 2 Post-Curing System and SprintRay OnX 3D Printer Resin

SprintRay recently released two new products as part of its Speed to Care ecosystem of 3D printing solutions: the ProCure 2 and SprintRay OnX. Both products were introduced at the company’s first 3D Next Summit.

SprintRay’s Speed to Care 3D printing products incorporate power, speed artificial intelligence and user experience to enable dental professionals to go from plan to placement in less than an hour, according to a press release.

The ProCure 2 makes it possible to complete one week of work in one day. It reduces post-curing times by 10x or more, making chairside 3D printing possible. It features 25x more light power from its custom curing engine, making it possible to cure a night guard in 3 minutes with no preheating required. The curing system also features a user-friendly, cloud-connected touchscreen computer that enables chairside 3D printing by pressing a button.

SprintRay OnX is a radio-opaque hybrid class II 3D printer resin for implant-supported hybrid dentures. It features optimal flexural strength, providing a balance of strength and modulus for full arch restorations. It also features an optimal combination of translucency and opacity to mimic natural dentition, and has what the company describes as “industry-leading ceramic content” that makes it “exceptionally esthetic and easy to characterize.”
