Premier Dental Co. recently introduced the Premier® X5 Sectional Matrix System.
The five-component sectional matrix system is designed to achieve accurate Class 2 composite restorations with smooth contours and consistent interproximal contacts, according to the company website.
The matrix is made from proprietary resin and offers separation strength that’s comparable to metal rings. The affordable, reusable rings can be used for up to five autoclave cycles. The system features 35 rings, so users can rely on a quick set up. There’s no need to wait for sanitized metal rings or to worry about corrosion or lost expensive metal rings.
The anatomically shaped matrices allow for proper contouring and provide tight contacts.
The easy-to-use system is compatible with other systems’ wedges and matrices.
