New Dental Product: PartialCAD 3.0 Galway Partial Framework Module from exocad

exocad, an Align Technology company, recently released PartialCAD 3.0 Galway, a module for removable partial denture frameworks that comes with advanced design features.

The module is said to enhance digital CAD/CAM possibilities for exocad users and dental technicians by providing simpler design solutions for complex cases, according to a press release. It provides both experts and new users with smooth, improved integration with DentalCAD, exocad's software for dental laboratories.

PartialCAD 3.0 Galway offers accurate fits from attachment-based partial framework designs without needing to scan the attachment itself or the accessory parts, along with a smooth interaction of the crown-and-bridge workflow and partial-framework workflow that allows for comfortable reverse planning of the whole restoration.

Integration of partial framework design with DentalCAD makes it possible to design multiple separate elements like framework, teeth and gingiva. It also offers reverse planning with exportable teeth and gingiva and the possibility to seamlessly combine secondary telescopic crowns with partial frameworks.

The module is available worldwide as an add-on or standalone module. It can be accessed by all users with a valid upgrade contract.

exocad names its releases after current "European Capitals of Culture" and selected the Irish city of Galway for this release.
