Garrison Dental Solutions has introduced the Fusion Anterior Matrix System for challenging anterior restorations.
The complete kit includes two sizes of firm metal matrix bands and four sizes of wedges for a variety of anterior lesions, according to a press release.
The matrix system was developed based on feedback from customers who used the company’s metal posterior matrix bands to create anterior tooth anatomy. Garrison worked closely with customers to refine that concept into the Fusion system.
Fusion’s firm metal matrix bands are thinner than traditional plastic strips and can be inserted through existing contacts and into sulcus for deeper restorations. Optimal gingival/incisal anatomy and facial/lingual anatomy are built in, simplifying sculpting in the anterior area.
The wedge wraps feature a radical curvature that fits snugly around the tooth and anchors in place. They gently slide alongside the interdental papilla to sit lower interproximally for maximum tooth separation. This also helps reduce the occurrence of black triangles.
The starter kit comes with 50 each of the two matrix band sizes and 25 each of the four wedge sizes. A complete selection of refills is also available.
