3DISC recently introduced HeronClinic 3.1 software.
The enhanced software increases scan speed and improves accuracy, according to a press release, and has more features to support lab, restorative and implant workflows.
The software allows for improved accuracy even under challenging scanning conditions and offers a faster, smoother scanning process. Exocad dentalProject and DWOS XOrder are now file export options in addition to STL, PLY and OBJ.
Full digital and PDF exportable lab prescriptions are available, with the software also offering occlusal distance mapping and jaw opening features. The new implant library supports major implant manufacturers.
The Heron IOS intraoral scanner offers a variety of benefits. The ergonomic plug and play scanner takes five minutes to unbox, set up and begin scanning. It features an intuitive user interface and one-click lab communication or file export.
