Keystone Industries and Henkel recently announced a collaboration on 3D printing solutions in the dental industry.
Henkel provides advanced materials and services for additive manufacturing across various industry segments under its Loctite brand, according to a press release.
Through the partnership, Henkel will add dental applications to its 3D printing portfolio, while Keystone will further scale its business. Keystone manufactures products in the dental digital, laboratory, operatory and preventative spaces and has a line of customized 3D printing solutions under the KeyPrint brand.
The companies plan to develop and commercialize 3D printing solutions for the dental markets and will leverage increased validations and partnerships with 3D printer companies and new material innovation to “further drive the penetration of the KeyPrint line.”
Combining KeyPrint with Henkel’s Loctite brands will “bring the integrated strengths of both companies to the dental consumers and will enable the efficient manufacturing of dental parts,” including the KeySplint Soft night guard and splint resin.
