GC America Launches Safe4Dentistry Online Resource Center

GC America recently launched Safe4Dentistry.com, an online resource for dental professionals that features updates on the evolving COVID-19 guidelines as well as education options.

The resource center provides information on safe and effective minimally invasive dental treatment options and data, including how to reduce aerosol production, according to a press release. It also offers podcasts, clinical case examples, continuing education courses and access to live webinars and recent articles. Topics covered include placing minimally invasive low-aerosol fillings, how to approach emergency treatments, and ways to keep the dental practice safe and secure.

Featured cases demonstrate how blending glass hybrids and traditional materials and methods can reduce aerosols, such as using materials like EQUIA Forte HT glass hybrid restoratives that require no highspeed drilling or extensive tooth preparation. Instructors include Drs. Jeremy Horst, Jeanette MacLean, Lance Kisby and Victor Cedillo Felix.

The site’s Safe and Secure Practice section features the latest updates on evolving guidelines from various organizations such as the ADA, step-by-step procedures, and relevant articles and resources.

The Additional Resources section contains systematic reviews, additional tutorials, webinars and podcasts. Presenters include Drs. Timothy Bizga, Jeanette MacLean and Pamela Maragliano-Muniz. Dental professionals can join Dr. Bob Margeas for “product talk” and explore “the restorative decision tree” with Dr. Todd Snyder. Users can also sign up for virtual meetings and lunch and learn programs to earn CE credits.

This online resource was first launched in the U.S. and Canada and will be rolled out globally to include all GC companies in the coming weeks.
