Alien Milling Technologies has added the vhf AK5+ and AK4 dry milling machines to its U.S. portfolio.
The reliable machines provide digital production with “great predictability and fast workflows,” according to a press release. They both offer an expanding material database and a range of supported indications.
The K5+ is a user friendly five-axis dry milling machine. Its robust build supports a wide range of indications and material (blanks up to 40 mm). With the patented DirectDiscTechnology, which allows blank clamping without tools, the machine can be loaded with material easily and quickly. An integrated ionizer and improved air circulation in the working area minimizes cleaning.
The K4 edition is a compact, affordable option. The four-axis dry milling machine has a rigid structure for optimal results, even when working with hard materials such as cobalt-chromium.
