 DentaQuest Partnership Offering Free CE for Dentists

The DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement is now offering free online continuing education courses for dental professionals.

The online learning center includes a COVID-19 Education Series that covers infection control and other best practices for re-opening dental clinics, according to a press release. Courses are designed and taught by expert faculty members, including clinicians, academics, data scientists, government and nonprofit leaders, and oral health educators.

The courses are recognized by the ADA’s continuing education recognition program and accepted by all U.S. professional licensing jurisdictions with continuing education requirements related to oral health care.

COVID-19 Education Series courses include:

-Infection Control and Preventive Care During a National Health Care Crisis

-Teledentistry: Providing Alternative Care During a Public Health Crisis

-Infection Control: Questions & Answers About COVID-19

-Saliva and COVID-19 Testing in Clinical Dental Practice

-Best Practices for Infection Control in Dental Clinics

The online learning center also includes 24 unique courses designed to educate clinicians in key practice improvement concepts. This includes value-based oral health care, payment reform, social determinants of health, oral health disease management, interprofessional practice, silver diamine fluoride, opioids and dentistry, strategic scheduling and managing broken appointments and remineralization modalities.
