Carestream Dental recently introduced the Practice Safely line, a new portfolio of products that includes personal protective equipment (PPE) and eServices.
The line was developed to help protect the health of professionals and patients, as well as a practice's financial health, as offices reopen, according to a press release.
The portfolio includes products and services that reduce the need for physical contact, mitigate the spread of germs and protect dentists and team members when interacting with patients.
Several eServices are now available as add-on modules to practice management software. Electronic registration forms patients can fill out at home and online payment options are among the services that reduce in-person interactions and improve efficiencies. The online payment option also helps reduce the cash receipt timeline by an average of three weeks when compared to traditional payment methods. Contactless terminals are available for in-office payments.
The company also now offers a line of reusable and disposable face shields to protect against aerosols and splashes. Other products that protect patients from cross contamination include single-use scanner tips and retractors, sheaths, bite blocks, head and chin rests, equipment covers and CR imaging plates.
The Practice Safely line is part of Carestream Dental’s Digital Reboot, a program created to drive a safer, faster recovery by offering resources and guidance to oral health care professionals.
