DenMat recently released a hydrogen peroxide oral rinse formulated with 1.5% hydrogen peroxide and xylitol to reduce bacteria in the mouth.
The rinse compliments the recently released hand sanitizer and hard surface cleanser products that are part of the company’s new infection control category, according to a press release.
The alcohol-free rinse has a fresh mint flavor and is sweetened with xylitol. This helps keep a neutral pH level in the mouth and prevents bacteria from sticking to teeth. The release of oxygen creates a foaming action that helps to inhibit bacteria growth, remove debris and heal minor mouth irritations.
The rinse comes in large half-gallon and gallon bottles with dispensing pumps for easy chairside application before and after treatment. It also comes in a 16 oz. size that patients can take home.
