Molar Media Mount recently introduced HoverShield, a clear acrylic shield that mounts to existing dental lights via the included Molar Media Mount.
The shield is designed to protect patients, team members and clinicians from splatter, according to the company website. It can be easily cleaned with Cavicide wipes between patients. A non-scratching microfiber cloth can be used to remove streaks.
The company is offering a HoverShield/Molar Media Mount Social Distancing Bundle that includes three Molar Media Mount arms, three HoverShields that measure 12" x 12" and three adhesive mounted socket joints. When not being used with the HoverShield, the mount allows clinicians to attach a tablet to stream videos that patients can watch while in the chair.
The HoverShields are available for pre-order with shipping expected in mid-July.
