The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) announced that it will provide five new webinars in April, including one that covers COVID-19.
The webinars are offered for free to AO members and for a small fee to nonmembers, according to a press release. The webinars include:
“Healthcare Under COVID-19: Where We are Now and Where We Are Headed,” offered April 8 and 15 at 8 p.m. ET. This two part-course is designed for dental professionals and their team members. Robert Lemke, DDS, MD, will examine pandemics throughout history and how they can shed light on our present and future.
“Why Digital?” offered April 9 at noon ET. Christian Coachman, DDS, CDT, will discuss the risks of not upgrading to a digital platform and strategies to implement change.
“Peri-implant Diseases: Non-surgical Protocols,” offered April 15 at noon ET. This webinar, presented by Marisa Roncati, RDH, DDS, is designed to provide concrete clinical indications for practical nonsurgical treatment options.
“Enhancing Peri-implant Esthetics Health and Patients’ Comfort with Autogeneous Soft Tissue Grafts,” offered April 29 at noon ET. Lorenzo Tavelli, DDS, will discuss how soft tissue management for dental implants has become crucial not only for enhancing esthetic outcomes of implant therapy, but also for improving implant health-related parameters.
Each webinar is certified for 1.0 ADA-CERP credit hour and will be recorded. ADA CERP credit is available for 90 days after each live webinar or posted course. After 90 days, each webinar will be archived, and no CE credit will be available.
